Job Title: Export Sales Officer

Location: Spintex, Ghana

 

Job Summary

The Export Sales Officer is expected to play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and market expansion within the ever dynamic and evolving market within West Africa. Leveraging your expertise in export sales and your understanding of the business landscape, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans to capitalize on emerging opportunities and establish our business as the preferred packaging partner in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify key players, market trends, and growth opportunities within the West-African sub-region.
    • Develop comprehensive sales strategies and action plans tailored to the specific needs and dynamics of the target markets.
    • Identify potential customers, and strategic partners to expand market presence and reach of our business.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their packaging needs.
    • Proactively engage with prospective clients to understand their requirements and propose tailored packaging solutions to meet their needs.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  1. Sales and Business Development:
    • Drive sales growth by actively promoting the Company’s products and services to clients in the West-African sub-region.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure sales.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.

 

  1. Market Expansion and Brand Awareness:
    • Represent the Company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions within the West-African sub-region, showcasing our products and capabilities.
    • Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and awareness in target markets.
    • Continuously monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to support the Company's competitive positioning.

 

Professional Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales and marketing, or a related role, preferably in the flexible packaging or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software is required.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret sales and marketing data.
  • Experience with CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess the ability to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and improve customer satisfaction
